MetaTouch History

In 1996 Holden J. Zalma founded MetaTouch Custom Therapeutic Massage. MetaTouch began as a small firm that provided quality service to individuals and corporations.

Over the years, MetaTouch has worked with hundreds of companies, and thousands of individuals. MetaTouch has the experience and knowledge to handle the needs of individual cases as well as corporations of any size throughout Southern California. MetaTouch offers the same level of quality and attention whether it is an individual with a neck ache or a 2000 person corporation.

The years have shown MetaTouch that they have a very unique niche in the massage industry. The therapeutic massage offered by MetaTouch is a different, customized healing service that treats the source of the problem, focuses on quality, and may be used as an alternative solution to physical therapy, chiropractic work, and traditional medicine.

Holden Zalma, owner and founder

Owner Holden J. Zalma founded MetaTouch Custom Therapeutic Massage in 1996. The culmination of all his knowledge has led him to create the MetaTouch Body Therapy Center. Holden began his career in massage therapy as an assistant athletic trainer at the University of Southern California (U.S.C.), where he worked with the football, basketball, volleyball, and swimming teams. He has over 13 years of experience as a massage therapist with special training in Myo-Fascial release, oriental medicine, Assisted Stretching and other rehabilitative therapies.

All of our massage treatments are goal-oriented.

"I do an evaluation of what's wrong with the person and work to get a specific change out of them.  When Holden entered into the profession, he knew that there was a lot more than is usually portrayed behind massage therapy. He grew to understand that therapeutic massage is a unique form of healing that treats the problems as opposed to just the symptoms, making it so people can feel better not only on the massage table, but long afterwards.
